MY LOGO
My logo features a scaled ouroboros with an ornate dagger laid behind it. An ouroboros is the name given to a snake that eats at its own tail until it has consumed almost all of itself. The first word oura, means “tail” while the second, boros, means “eating." The image of the snake eating its own tail is meant to represent the recreation of life through death by the Universe. In regard to the dagger, dating back to ancient times, many spiritual tribes believed that a sacrifice was a true representation of devotion. The dagger symbol of today relates with those tribal rituals and can be rooted in finding yourself in that position, having to make a sacrifice. And so the dagger can represent faith, purpose, or devotion.
My logo combines these two meanings. I want my designs to be immortalized, in the sense that their meanings and the beliefs they carry stay with those who see my work. The work I am truly devoted and faithful to. As it is my purpose to design and express the ideas of myself and of others in a beautiful visual way.
